Runners4All passes the baton to the European Students Run
After two years of successfully promoting active lifestyles and international collaboration, the project Runners4All, co-funded by the European Union, is officially concluding. But this finish line is just the beginning - passing the baton to a permanent legacy: the European Students Run, under the umbrella of the European University Sports Association (EUSA).
The project officially wrapped up with a final hybrid conference on June 9, 2026, bringing together project partners, students, and sports representatives. This followed the highly successful in-person conference previously held in Ljubljana last October. Together, these gatherings celebrated the core achievements of the initiative: encouraging students to exercise regularly, training student mentors, and sharing valuable experiences with event organizers.

A lasting legacy: 2025 success and free resources
The undisputed highlight of the project was the inaugural European Students Run, held as part of the Ljubljana Marathon in October 2025. The event reached all expectations, recording over 1,900 registered students from 39 countries, and over 1,700 successfully crossing the finish line.

To ensure this momentum continues, the project partners have developed two key sets of legacy documents, now available to the public for free:
- Educational materials and modules
- Project results and recommendations for organizers of running events
