Register
In order to benefit from the student discount at the European Students Run 2026 in Ljubljana, please first go to EUSA Portal at https://portal.eusa.eu and register. After registering your profile, please use the "University Enrollment" function. You will need to verify your identity and upload proof of academic eligibility (enrollment certificate, student ID or diploma).
Only students aged 18-30 (counting year of birth), enrolled in academic year 2025-26 at a university or higher education institution in Europe (regardless of their nationality), or who have completed their studies by obtaining a diploma or graduation in the 2025 or 2026 calendar year, are eligible for a discount code and to take part in the European Students Run. Please see Regulations for details.
Participants failing to meet these criteria, are not eligible for a student discount code, and will not be able to participate at the European Students Run. They are, however, able to registrer in a standard way and take part in the NLB Ljubljana Marathon as general participants.
After verification at EUSA Profile and receiving the discount code, the students need to officially register at the official website of the NLB Ljubljana Maraton at https://ljubljanskimaraton.si/en/. In the registration process, do not forget to select the student run category, and use your unique non-transferrable student discount code.
Using the code, the discounted student registration fee will be 40 EUR (any distance). Please note that the code can only be used for the student run category, and that there is a strict no refund policy enforced.
Not a student (anymore)?
Partners, family members, friends, colleagues and other non-student runners are also welcome to register and join the NLB Ljubljana Marathon, using standard registration procedures and payment of applicable fees. Student runners and general runners run together within the three official distances.

- BIB number with single use chip; timekeeping service
- SMS with performance info
- functional bag for wardrobe
- finisher medal
- free entry to EXPO
- certificate of honour for participation (at the event venue or online after the event)
- technical area entry (with a BIB number)
- refreshments on refreshment points and at the finish area
- medical service on the course (also mobile AED) and at the finish area
- changing room, wardrobe and toilet
- pacemakers for favourite times
- full road closure
- officially certified course by World athletics and AIMS
- music and other activations on the course
- free city public transport on a race day (with BIB number)
Note the following deadlines:
September 1, 2026: Absolute deadline to register at the EUSA Portal, verify student eligibility and receive the discount code.
September 15, 2026: Absolute deadline to register at the NLB Ljubljana Marathon and make the payment.
