Last days of registrations: Join us at the European Students Run 2026!
With just weeks to go, excitement for the European Students Run 2026 is reaching its peak. Set to take place in the vibrant city of Ljubljana, Slovenia, on October 17 and 18, 2026, the event will run alongside the historic 30th-anniversary edition of the NLB Ljubljana Marathon.
We are thrilled to announce that the main event has already surpassed a massive 18,000 registered runners. Within this incredible crowd, we are proud to share that over 2,000 student runners have already secured their spots to compete in the European Students Run category.
Claim your student discount by September 14
We want to see as many of you at the starting line as possible. To give everyone a fair chance to participate, we are happy to announce that the deadline to claim your special student discount has been extended to September 14.
If you are a student aged 18-30, make sure to visit the EUSA Portal to create your profile and verify your academic eligibility. Once verified, you will receive a unique, non-transferable discount code to use during your final registration.
Final registration deadline on September 15
Please be aware that the main registration and absolute cut-off date to officially register via the NLB Ljubljana Marathon platform is September 15, 2026.
To successfully join our ranks, you must select the "European Students Run" option during the registration process and enter your EUSA discount code before finalizing your payment. No late entries will be accepted after this date, so act fast!

Host the European Students Run in 2027 and 2028
As we gear up for an unforgettable weekend in Ljubljana, EUSA is already looking toward the future. The bidding process for hosting the European Students Run in 2027 and 2028 is still open! We are actively looking for European running events capable of hosting Marathon, Half-Marathon, and 10km races that wish to integrate and organize European student categories. Bids must be received by October 1, 2026. Institutions and organizers interested in taking up the baton are encouraged to contact the EUSA Sports Department at sports@eusa.eu.
